Roles and Responsibilities

1. Generate Specification for NPD products for increasing the catalogue products

2. Plan NPD projects by listing the activities, targets and assign the tasks to team members to get the required output

3. Review inputs from customer through ACDE formats to meet customer requirement

4. Generate different concepts for build to specification projects by benchmark analysis to meet product specification

5. Create specification for Electrical subsystems from the selected concept to meet overall product specification

6. Develop and innovate designs of brushed and brushless DC motors, stepper motors etc

7. Optimize performance tailored to product requirements

8. Design and Verify electrical parameters of motor using design and analysis tools(SPEED/ Altair/JMAG/ MOTORCAD/MAXWELL/Ansys)

9. Review the detailed design report done by team members through ACDE formats and AS standards to get customer approval for realization

10. Develop strategies, tools to conduct electromagnetic FEA analysis of motor / generator designs, model creation.

11. Control the document revisions as per SOP to meet process compliance

12. Ensure AS9100 & ACDE documents through standard formats for compliance of AS 9100

13. Realize Prototype using NPD process flow within estimated timeline

14. Review production document for prototype proved parts to store in design library for production use

15. Train new resources for executing projects with technical and process compliance

16. Estimate design cost by listing the activities and required man hours to arrive at the product cost

17. Interact with customer for checking the technical feasibility and getting clarifications to complete the RFQ work on time
