About the job:

A product engineering services company is looking for Senior DevOps Engineers with 3-6yrs experience in maintaining large scale production infrastructure on AWS or GCP.

 

Responsibilities of this role:

(1) Designing and implementing infrastructure management solutions for AWS and GCP

• Orchestrating containerized applications in Linux environment
• Managing secure, scalable, and highly available deployments on AWS or GCP
• Using infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform etc
• Utilizing automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, etc
• Using monitoring tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana etc

(2) Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining

• AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Ensuring configuration and compliance with version management tools
• Ensuring compliance with security practices

(3) Mentor junior DevOps engineers on processes and tools being used by the DevOps team

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or MS in Engineering, or equivalent
• 3 to 6 years of working experience in Linux administration and AWS or GCP DevOps
• Proficiency in AWS CLI / APIs, and SDKs such as Boto3
• Proficiency in GCP Gcloud CLI / Cloud shell and Gcloud libraries
• Working knowledge and experience with one or more interpreted programming languages (Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc)
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Terraform
• Certification in AWS / GCP one or more of the cloud platforms is preferred.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP&UDP / IP, DNS, HTTP(S), etc
• DevSecOps & Gitops experience would be an added advantage
