Job Description

Must Have :

PostgreSQL BDR Sync replication Setup (must have)

Backup and administration PostgreSQL Development (must have)

Performance tuning (must have)

Nice to have :

User creation (nice to have)

Housekeeping Linux scripting (nice to have)

These 3 are TOP priorities (nice to have)

ideal candidate

Technical Skills -

1. Experience in install, monitor and Maintain PostgreSQL (should perform standard PostgreSQL maintenance activities in Linux platform)
2. Should be familiar with access control, backup and recovery process
3. Fine-tuning SQL and integrating various data sources
4. Exposure to stored procedures and database Triggers
5. Designing database schema and other objects - will be added advantage
6. Able to assist DevOps teams
7. Knowledge and experience of RHEL

Soft skills -

1. Preferred to have functional knowledge about Payment Accounts
2. Preferred to work with COTS Applications
3. Supported critical banking applications ( and hence understands the urgency)
4. 7+ years relevant experience relevant project experience with premier organization(s)
5. Technology savvy, having a clear picture of where and how information technology can be used to run businesses better and different
