Software Development Engineer III/Tech Lead
AppDesk Services is looking for a Software Development Engineer III who can work
with our development team, lead the team to code and create software solutions on
business applications for companies partnering across the globe. The company will be
working with partners from across the world by providing support and expertise to
develop innovative solutions to problems faced in their respective sectors.
The person is expected to be highly resourceful and intellectually curious with solid
technical/analytical skills, and good communication skills.

What you'll be working on:

SDE III's will have various responsibilities, including:

1. Be an exemplary leader who can groom junior developers, on the technical, as well as,

professional front.

2. Hold all developers accountable to a high standard of programming while conducting

code reviews, and give constructive criticism to encourage their professional growth.

3. Build and lead a team of Engineers to work on projects for clients around the world.

4. Develop various software systems and dashboards for mining new business insights or

to support new operational processes and launching new products.

5. Learn and develop product and project management skills, such as doing qualitative

research on competitors, running and interpreting A/B tests, and managing various

aspects of a project from start to completion.

6. Partner with international clients on any initiatives or projects brought up by them.

7. Conduct in-depth business analysis and investigation on a project-by-project basis.

8. Foster an environment of collaboration and trust within the organization.

9. Lead by example for junior developers, this will be both on a technical front as well as

professional.

What we are looking for:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or Statistics, or a

related technical field.

2. Must be a full-stack developer.

3. Minimum 5 years of experience developing software and applications using at least one

of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Python.

4. For Java - sound knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot Framework or experience with

Android development.

5. For JavaScript - MEAN stack or any popular JavaScript full-stack.

6. For Python - sound knowledge of Django/Flask frameworks.

7. Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the front end.

8. Sound knowledge of relational databases (SQL) or NoSQL storage systems.

9. Experience with AWS ecosystem

10. Ability to work independently, and mentor others.

11. Strong math, analytical, and business knowledge.

12. Great attention to detail.

13. Self-motivated and a genuine desire to learn new skills.

14. Highly resourceful with a go-getter attitude.
