Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for Design engineers who will be an important building block in our growth process.

He/she will be responsible for

1. Study of design and part drawing provided by customer.
2. Executing new product development.
3. Responsible for development of prototypes, checking and supporting in finalization of BOM and material specification and approvals
4. Study and suggest design changes in moulds or other processes for increasing production efficiency and reducing cost
5. Working in collaboration with production team to implement design changes on shop floor

Desired Candidate Profile

This role demands hands on experience on design platforms like solid works , Catia or Ansys. There should be sound understanding of surface designing, mould manufacturing, assemblies. Knowledge of composite materials and application along with the knowledge of ISO Standards, SAP platform, tolerance stack-up analysis and APQP/DFMEA/PPAP documentation will be required for the performing the job efficiently and effectively.

A professional who is also entrepreneurial, and has a client focused approach with an attitude to work in teams is expected to do well.

He/she must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (certification on platforms like solid works is preferable), Exposure to working with railways or automotive companies is an added advantage.
