Comvision has their software development center in Gurugram, Haryana is opening their new software development center in Hyderabad, Telangana, and is looking for members to join this team. This team will be responsible for product development for our state-of-the-art traffic management and smart city solutions. More details about the role can be found below.

Database Administrator Leader at Comvision

Experience range: Minimum 5 years

Technologies required: Oracle Enterprise, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

Salary Range: Above market

Job Location: Gurugram, Mumbai or Hyderabad (as preferred by the candidate)

KRAs and Professional Skills

• The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our next generation of traffic management, eToll and smart parking solutions.
• The team will be working closely with Comvisions senior management, and the candidate(s) selected under this role will report directly to the senior management in the Delhi office.
• The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge in all stages of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• The candidate must have extensive knowledge of database architectures and optimization methods
• The candidate must have worked in business-critical environment(s) and large volumes of data
• The candidate will be responsible for performance tuning, query optimization and query tuning for all existing and upcoming applications
• Knowledge of installing and monitoring versions of the preferred database on the Linux platform
• Setting up replication & redundant databases for projects such as RAC/mirroring/replication
• The candidate must have good hands-on object data transfer between databases using data pump
• The candidate should have the knowledge to set up trigger-based events in their database
