Job description
: Create the look, layout, and features of a website
- New Website page creation, uploads and maintenance
-Writing efficient code
-Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website
-Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
-Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built
-Conceptualizing creative ideas.
-Writing and editing content.
-Designing websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding of the company.
-Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
- Creating back up files.
-Solving code problem.
-Determining technical requirements
. Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as Wordpress,
HTML/XHTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Web User Interface Design (UI), General Web Functions and standards
-Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET
-Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle
-Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience
-Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
-Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals
Strong communication skills
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
-Computer Proficiency (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) .
-Excellent Written & Verbal English Communication.
-Analytical Skills.
-Creative and open to new ideas.
-Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
-Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and other visual design tools would be an advantage
