  • The candidate would work as a member of a team providing first contact incident management support as part of the Global Helpdesk team. The role will collaborate with second level counterparts in resolving technical and functional issues as needed.

- Live first contact incident management

- Performing infrastructure monitoring

- Resolving administrative requests for application server systems and MS Office/Outlook client installations

- Support for application development and support teams in resolving technical problems

- Trouble-shooting VPN related problems and work with second level specialists on resolving connectivity issues in the Data and Voice infrastructure

- Documentation of best practice maintenance, 1st level trouble shooting procedures related to the above

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the 1st Level related operations procedure

Roles and Responsibilities

Experience & Key Competencies

- Total work experience of 1-3 years with hands-on experience in installing, administering, and troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook and Exchange

- Understanding of messaging and intranet protocols, Skype for Business

- Knowledge of mobile device manage tools and supporting iPads and iPhones would be helpful

- Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 Operating system and troubleshooting issues

- Good knowledge of Office 365, Outlook Mail and Calendaring issues

- Active Directory, server operating systems (Windows 2012, 2016 & 2019)

- DHCP and DNS

- Exchange Online

- Network security (antivirus, spyware tools)

- Host security (for example, passwords, uids/gids, ACLs, file permissions, file system integrity)

- IIS and .NET architecture

- Understanding of Office 365 technologies OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online and Teams

- Understanding of ITIL fundamentals

- Solid interpersonal and communication skills

- Fluent written and verbal English language skills to deliver high quality support for clients

- Solid sense for operational priorities

- The ability to work both independently and in project teams in a remote team setting


The position is based at Egon Zehnder Knowledge Center India (KCI), Plot no. 29, Institutional Area, Sector 32, Gurgaon.
