JOB DETAIL

Role Purpose:

Deployment, Managing and Configuring Linux Environments with hands on AWS Infrastructure

Key Role Deliverables:

  • Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
  • Strong understanding of different versions of Linux - Server provisioning, Patching, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning and upgrade
  • Experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix and Nagios
  • Schedules and performs installations & upgrades as per requirement.
  • Strong knowledge in configuration and managing Linux based services.

(HTTP, Nginx, Hap Roxy, PHP, MySQL and Apache Tomcat)

  • Maintain system security and backup / recovery procedures.
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
  • Experience in implementing/maintaining DevOps solutions on AWS platform DevOps (CI-CD) Tools Code Build, Code Pipeline, and GitHub
  • Experience in creating and managing multiple EC2 Instances or Elastic beanstalk environments for application deployment.
  • AWS ACL / SSL certificate implementation on hosted application
  • Setup/Managing Linux Servers on Amazon ( EC2, EBS, ELB, SSL, Security Groups, RDS and IAM).
  • Setup/Managing VPC, Subnets; make the connection between different zones; Blocking suspicious ip/subnet via ACL.
  • Setup/Managing CDN on Amazon Cloud Front ( Origin Path: Server / S3) to improve site
  • Create/Managing buckets on S3 (CLI) and store db. and logs backup, upload images for CDN serve.
  • Setup/Managing Databases on Amazon RDS. Monitoring servers through Amazon Cloud Watch.
  • Creating/Managing DNS records on Amazon Route 53 and go-daddy panel.
  • Creating/Managing AMI/Snapshots/Volumes, Upgrade/downgrade AWS resources (CPU, Memory, EBS)
  • Creating AWS Instances and Resources Bills.

 

Basic Job Requirements:

1. Good communication skills

2. Eligibility: Any Degree

3. Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in similar domain.
