The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering the Project Manager will work on site with one of our major clients. In this role you will be responsible for the oversight and successful management of end to end delivery which means that through effective people leadership you are able to ensure the completion of project milestones on time, on budget and to the highest of quality.
As the Program Manager you will actively participates in understanding the solution architecture, design and works closely with Enterprise Architects, Business System Analysts, Developers and QA professionals, as well as define and drive the ongoing maturity of the development methodology and practices.
How will you contribute
Every day will be different and varied, though the one thing you can guarantee is that it will be fast paced and always challenging. On any given day you will be expected to undertake responsibilities including:
- Owning up to all aspects of Project Management and ensuring timely roll-out of project deliveries within specified timelines.
- Oversee day-to-day activities of Team and provide support as necessary to ensure projects are completed within specified due dates including relevant line management responsibilities
- Decide on the delivery approach and manage scope (scope definition, planning, verification and control) of all projects
- Budgeting and estimation of resources and time for each project delivery. Creating a robust plan and getting required approvals
- Keeps stakeholders updated with reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
- Analyze and interpret the business requirements for technical systems.
- Single point of contact for all the project stakeholders on all the information regarding project delivery
- Identify all risk elements within the project and regularly track the same. Prepare mitigation plans of all risk elements and keep all stakeholders updated.
- Foster automation in the targeted projects/organization to build robust continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) suite
Our Idea Person:
We are looking for a real super star, you have a demonstrable track record of being able to delver complex and technical projects and your success comes because you have the following:
- Total 11 - 13 years in IT industry in management/leadership roles with flair of working on the Telecom OSS/BSS projects preferably using the Agile methodology.
- Prior experience managing multi-stream deliveries, coaching the teams and demonstrate strong solution understanding, planning project phases and tasks (development/integration, globally distributed) and executing to quality standards.
- Extensive experience in integration, customizations end to end solutioning in telecom domain along with testing, and deploying high quality, highly reliable, secure, scalable enterprise technology agnostic applications in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that support experience in scoping the project, govern change requests and good negotiation skills with the ability to present to steering committee.
- Excellent work ethic, initiative, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to deliver high value projects in a team environment
- Exposure to large scale integration projects including authentication authorization OR Identity Provider/SAML/SSO, SSL and performance would be a plus
- B.E degree in computing or a related subject, or commensurate industry experience.

- TMF certifications (Information Framework, Frameworks, Business Process Framework) is desirable
- Exposure to Telecom Domain in a multi-vendor environment with integration/implementation experience in one or more of: Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Comptel Provisioning, Oracle OSM, Amdocs OMS/Cramer, or equivalent products in market (any of the COTS above is desirable but not mandatory for this role)
- Apache Camel components protocols (like CFX, REST, File, Routes), Rest/Soap Webservices,
- XML/JSON (design, mapping, marshalling, unmarshalling, object mapper, POJO)
- Tools usage (Eclipse, Junit, Wiki, WinSCP, putty, Jira)
- Docker container-based application development/deployment
- Exposure to Oracle and PL/SQL and performance tuning and scalability for the applications.
- Good to have experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, SQL, Angular JS.
