ROLE EXPECTATIONS
This role requires bright people who not only understand and have a penchant for software project management but also have a flair for understanding business problems and technology-based solutions. We need people who are passionate about solving business problems through technology. Extremely strong drive to learn new stuff/tools and who have an excellent eye for details.
ROLE PURPOSE
- Delivers project(s) on schedule and within budget, while satisfying agreed-upon customer requirements and specifications within the scope of the project.
- Responsible for the appropriateness, quality, and timeliness of all aspects of the project(s), manages the production of project estimates, develops project schedule, establishes measures and milestones, tracks ongoing project progress
- Mobilizes necessary resources, assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate project resources, and provides guidance and direction to project team members
- Proactively manages risks, issues, and scope through-out the project lifecycle, prepares/presents project plans/status reports to organizational leadership, project teams and client/customer groups..
KEY ACCOUNTABILITITES
- Technology : Coordinates recommendations for technology solutions that address client requirements identified during the project life-cycle.
- People : Provides challenging environment, directs and motivates the project team, and establishes and effective climate for achieving positive working relations with other stakeholders (e.g., client, management).
- Customer : Understands customer goals and requirements, represents Expedien to the customer, and manages customer expectations and dependencies.
- Business : Understands both Expedien s and the client s business contexts and how the project impacts both Expedien and the client s business results; and maintains an awareness of changing business needs and external influences, recognizing their potential impact on project goals.
- Financial : Achieves contractual commitments related to quality, cost, and schedule. Facilitates the review of risks and develops appropriate risk mitigation plans.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- The position requires at least 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years as project manager with a professional IT organization
- Must have handled client interactions and planned and managed projects
- Prior work in USA educational domain is preferable
- SKILLS, ABILITIES KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- You must have in-depth understanding of User Experience concepts
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology

- BE, B. Tech. or MCA/MS (Computer Science / IT) from reputed institute and Management/Business Consulting degree
