Degrees/certifications with coursework(major/minor) related to vulnerability management, with strong focus on data analysis
Participation in at least two internships or prior roles that have either focused on vulnerability management
Familiarity with well-known Vulnerability discovery tools (e.g. NMAP, Tenable, Qualys)
Strong understanding of the Vulnerability management lifecycle
Experience analyzing lists of vulnerabilities and adjusting residual risk scores taking into consideration application context, exposure, ease of exploit and other factors
Familiarity with Agile/SAFe Agile
Able to employ problem solving techniques to navigate complex challenges to ensure on time/on scope/on budget delivery of objectives
Knowledge of at least one scripting language that can aide in reducing manual complexity of analysis (Python, Perl, Javascript, etc)
Able to function both independently and alongside teammates to deliver work
