POSITION: Senior Consultant (SC) IT

REPORTS TO: Senior Manger

JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

As a core member of the project team, the SC is involved in Internal Audit and Internal Control reviews. As part of the projects, he/she will be required to prepare scope, process understanding document, develop RCM, conduct meetings with clients, obtain concurrence from end user departments, create documentation as per IIA standards, prepare draft and final reports. Through interaction with client and project team personnel, the SC develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. The SC demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency.

The Senior Consultant will be responsible to complete tasks assigned by supervisory personnel, execution of projects and for direct supervision of Consultants and other junior resources in executing projects. relating to IT Application configuration and controls, e.g. Oracle & SAP Segregation of Duties, functional configuration of controls in line with business requirements, data management, security configurations,

Should be able to perform testing for various financial systems by obtaining end-to-end understanding of the clients business processes and identifying key risks in SAP, Oracle ERP.

Perform sensitive access and segregation of duties analysis for ERPs like SAP and Oracle including SAP Basis testing and Oracle SA Module testing.

Perform testing of various standard and customized reports generated from any ERP to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Review of Master data creation and modification process and controls.

Evaluate the adequacy of the existing system master data records.

Review of technical design and as is implementation of systems.

Review underlying application infrastructure which includes databases like Oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL, SAP HANA DB hosted over operating systems such as Windows, AIX, Unix, AS400 and Linux.

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

• MBA
• Engineering IT, Computer Science, MCA,
• 5+ years in telecom audits or consulting assignments.
• Professional Certifications such as CISA/ Oracle/SAP Certified Professional would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of FastPath will be an advantage

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Ability to develop and maintain effective client relationships and understand the clients business and project requirements.
• Understanding of business processes and technical skills to successfully develop effective solutions and complete project assignments.
• Network contracts analysis including identification of undefined clauses and benchmarking them against industry best practice.
• Prior supervisory skills.
• Understanding of the importance of business ethics.
• Sound project management and job administration skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a team environment.
• Excellent written communication skills & strong analytical skills.

Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Experience of working on IT Applications and Platforms like ERP, Finance, Procurement or Budgeting domains;
• Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, carrying out IT Risk Assessment, preparing RCMs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

Travel required based on client requests/commitments.
