Job Posting Title Senior Engineer - F5


Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure high availability of customer's Network & IT infrastructure
  • Perform daily health check and routine scheduled maintenance. Review system logs and find potential issues
  • Troubleshoot and take ownership of incident until resolved
  • Complete service requests and execute changes assigned
  • Escalate issues/incidents to next level and follow-up until closure
  • Ensuring that the SLAs are met for all incident, problem, request, and change
  • Participate in root cause investigation
  • Perform routine patching activities and ensure that all the systems/devices are up to date
  • Ensure that configuration backup of all the system/devices is up to date
  • Review logs/monitoring data/reports to identify capacity bottleneck and suggest for improvement
  • Generate the various reports required for operations management
  • Keep tickets up-to-date as per response SLA in ITSM tool
  • Contribute knowledge articles and update them in a timely manner when required.


Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • B.Sc. / BE / Diploma in Electronics/Comp/IT/Telecom
  • Either CCNP / F5 / NetScaler certification and ITIL certification
  • Palo Alto, Checkpoint certification will be added advantage
  • 4-6 years of experience in technical support
  • Experience in load balancers, switches, routers, firewalls, DDI in hosted on datacenter or cloud environment.
  • Experience in managing load balancers (F5, NetScaler), IPAM (Infoblox), internet gateways
  • Good hands-on experience on installation and configuration of network and security devices and network services
  • Basic Knowledge on any Scripting language like PowerShell, Python, etc.


  • Should have knowledge of ITIL processes. Experience working in ITIL tools like ServiceNow etc.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and reporting.
  • Experience working with some or all technologies below:
  • F5 / NetScaler / A10/ AVI load balancer • Palo Alto / Checkpoint • IPAM / DNS/DHCP/NTP • Proxy, reverse proxy • Application gateway • Network load balancer • Routing and switching protocols (EIGRP, OSPF) • ACL • VPN/IPSEC


Skill Set: • Excellent communication skills • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Must be able to demonstrate customer first approach • Ability take ownership, troubleshoot, and coordinate the issue until it is resolved • Ability to identify trend and perform root cause investigate • Good at creating knowledge articles and SOPs
