Your Role
We are looking for highly motivated and talented Software Engineers who are passionate about Salesforce development and clean code by using best practices, enterprise patterns and standards.
You will build on top of the existing platform, and work across multiple clouds and applications, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community, MavenLink, Mulesoft with a particular focus on our Salesforce PSA (Mavenlink) implementation over Sales Cloud, and many other customized applications on top of the platform.
You will need to be able to own and drive entire development solutions which include: code review and improvement of existing functionality using our Git / Atlasssian suite of tools, troubleshooting of complicated integrations and large volume data feeds, creation of new features and enhancements provided by the Product owners in an agile framework driven environment.
NOTE: Video is mandatory for the interviews. The interview process would also include LIVE Coding session to demonstrate technical ability.
Your Responsibilities
- Become an expert on the Mavenlink product for Salesforce by gaining a thorough understanding of Mavenlink AppExchange product including data model, integrations involved and customization.
- Gain high-level understanding of how the various MuleSoft integrations work between Salesforce, Mavenlink, and the data warehouse.
- Monitor integrations and error notifications and respond accordingly.
- Leverage Mavenlink data loader tool for performing bulk data updates.
- Able to drive end-to-end delivery of new features and enhancements.
- Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customizations.
- Support cross systems and related integrations across native Salesforce eco system.
- Build solutions on Salesforce.com platform, including development in Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Web Services and APIs
- Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce PSA (Mavenlink) and Sales Cloud in an iterative release cycle.
- Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues.
- Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling, and monitoring.
- Learn and adapt to Ciena CI/CD process using Bitbucket
Who you are
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience on the Force.com platform including Visualforce, Lightning, Apex and/or SOQL/SOSL
- Bachelors degree.
- Visualforce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers, LWC, JavaScript development experience
- Web services development and or experience with Salesforce API, Metadata, and other APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Good knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools and ETL with Salesforce.
- Experience with large scale data migrations in and out of Salesforce
- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams.
- Platform Developer I, Admin, App Builder Certifications required. Platform Developer II certification is preferred
- Experience with Salesforce integrated project management / professional service automation tools a plus
