About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our fast-growing Data Products & Innovation team in the Global Product Management organization and work with a group of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to drive significant business impact. Your team focuses on leveraging Gartner s proprietary data to innovatively bring better products to our clients across all industries. The product manager will lead a team of business analyst, data scientists, engineers, and designers to drive innovation. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead and mentor others to lead client interviews to identify opportunities to innovate and drive value. Lead scrum teams to design MVPs to test, learn and quickly iterate features and offerings to improve the client experience.

What you will do:

Product Development, Launch, and Lifecycle Management:

  • Drive repeat engagement and new business. Create product plans to achieve this goal.

  • Serve as product owner and lead a scrum team of data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and designers. Ensure continued impact and tracking progress of metrics post-launch.

  • Design, build, launch and assess MVPs. Analyze MVP and experiment data and synthesize into findings and actionable insights

  • Develop digital business models and go-to-market strategies for new monetization models/products

  • Understand customer and business needs and synthesize opportunities

  • Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research and stakeholder requirements, into product priorities and requirements

  • Prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team s long-term goals and strategy

  • Measure and improve product planning and development processes.

Product Strategy:

  • Develop a roadmap, in conjunction with customers, executives, services, sales, and engineering

  • Lead brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving sessions with stakeholders across Gartner to define and implement product concepts, features, and functionality

  • Provide insightful analytics necessary to manage and run the businesses

What you will need:

  • 6+ years of combined experience in a management consulting and/or product development, operations, and management roles, including 4+ years in digital product management

  • 2+ years of experience working at digital company or SaaS software environment

  • Experience or strong understanding of data science, statistics, and engineering fundamentals

  • Proven track record for new product innovation, including design thinking frameworks, product ideation, and agile development; data products experience preferred

  • Ability to test concepts through fact-finding and data-driven decision making

  • Experience with market definition and evaluation strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get things done

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills

  • Bachelors degree in math, statistics, engineering, or a related field; masters preferred
