Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish a network of National and Regional Freight providers/ transporters
- Negotiate shipping fees and other charges with freight partners for B2C and B2B (FTL/PTL) shipments
- Benchmark existing freight/couriers rates vs competition.
- Ensure proper vendor onboarding
- Work closely with, technology and operations team to streamline reporting and KPI tracking
- In case of client concerns, escalate the issue with the freight providers to ensure timely resolution
Desired Candidates Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Management and/or Freight Business Development
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain management processes and functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word)
