General Description:
We are looking for a Business Analyst who can assist our Customer Success team in launching new customers and managing existing customers. Onboarding new customers involves collecting data from a variety of sources, synthesizing that data into a format readable by our database, and importing that data into our proprietary product management software. Due to the nature of the work involved, and our high variance in customer needs, our Business Analyst is expected to collaborate extensively both with our internal teams and external customers, and provide an educated point of view on how to onboard each customer.
Key responsibilities & Accountabilities
Job Description [Mandate]
- Collect Product and Technical data off of customers websites
- Create base data models that match unique customer needs
- Input data into databases and internal applications, following database formatting
- Make revisions according to needs of customer
- Configure client sites using an internal admin tool for their ecommerce sites
- Communicate with customer regarding missing or incomplete data
- Improve turnaround time for data entry for new customers
- Communicate limitations and complications with data collection to Customer Success team
- Ensure data quality and structure matches customer needs
- Uphold best practices for data management
- Establish new best practices as new features roll out
Education Requirement [Mandate]
- Graduate in Science or Computers
Mandatory Profile Requirements (Competencies & Skills)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in relative workspace
- Proficient in Excel
- Can create formulas like VLOOKUP, conditionals, and MATCH to optimize workflow
- Understands data connection processes within excel
- Experience with site data scraping tools like Octoparse to collect website data programmatically
- General understanding of database storage
- Can read JSON or Javascript and maintain basic JSON code
- Has written basic functions in another programming language
- Must be able to quickly identify and resolve unique data issues per customer. Some customers may have parts of their data listed in separate locations that need to be merged
