Key Responsibilities

• Prior experience as Technical Lead and/or Managing People.
• Managing a team of world-class engineers and help them with their deliveries.
• System Ownership - Monitoring, Analyzing, and fixing defects to ensure 100% uptime with minimal bugs.
• Strive hard to provide the best experience to anyone using our products.
• Continuously refactoring the code to make it more resilient and generic.
• Conceptualize innovative and elegant solutions to solve challenging big data problems.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda set your priorities and deliver awesome products.
• Desire to learn and dive deep into new technologies on the job, especially around modern data storage and streaming open-source systems (Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, Elastic)
• Open to learning machine learning/deep learning (CNNs, sci-kit learn, Conventional Machine Learning techniques).

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent degree with 4+ Yrs. of experience in building low latency, high throughput web services products.
• Knowledge of Big Data Systems and Data pipelines (Cassandra, BigQuery, Solr, Elastic, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Passion for products and aspiration to make a big impact.
• Strong database design and query writing skills with a commitment to performance and efficiency.
• Solid engineering principles and a clear understanding of data structures and algorithms.
