Qualifications: B.E. /B. Tech, M.E./M. Tech with IT/Computer, MCA, M.SC IT
Technical skills:
- Great coding skills in at least any one of these languages (Java, Python, SQL);
- Solid skills in Test Automation framework design;
- Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodologies Testing life cycle and being well versed in both manual and automated testing;
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Standards and experience testing REST based APIs using PostMan, REST Assured, Jmeter etc.
- Experience in CI and CD tools with experience in at least one of these - Jenkins for apps built using Kubernetes Docker, BitRise, Azure DevOps etc.
- Proficient in using various tools, such as Maven, JUnit, TestNG etc.
- Technical knowledge of at least one major RDBMS like SQL Server and Backend Testing.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience with at least one automation testing tool preferably in Selenium, Cucumber, Appium or any other industry leading automation tool.
- Intermediate level in using any one of these programming languages (C#, Java, C , Ruby, Python)
- Very well versed with Agile methodology and Scrum framework along with knowledge on other working methodologies.
- Great communication skills with an ability to find a common language with all team members, can send systematic prompt updates to client with excellent collaboration skills across the board.
- Analytical, problem-solving decision-making skills with ability to see the root of the problem and come up with efficient, creative, and cost-effective solutions.
- Writing test plans, test strategy, owning end to end execution and reporting in a timely fashion.
- Developing tracking metrics to track test progress.
Good to have:
- ISTQB Advanced Test Automation certification
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification
