Roles and Responsibilities -
- Able to work as a team player with Application Developers, Database administrators and operational personnel.
- Independently analyze and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Effectively prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Apply data modelling techniques to ensure integration and performance expectations are met as well as allow for future flexibility to meet changing business needs.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.
- Designing the structure of database as per the requirements of the development Team.
- Modification of existing database structure.
- Creating Stored Procedures, functions, views.
- Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
- Implement and maintain database security by creating the Users, roles and assign privileges required.
- Creating and implementing of schedule jobs and alerts.
- Establish and maintain appropriate backup and recovery strategies.
- Backend modifications that cannot be performed through an application.
- Understand the business requirements working with customers.
- Analyze, understand, and validate the input data.
- Communicate development requirements working with team members.
- Analyze the output of the solution to ensure that the solution meets the requirements.
- Communicate and deliver solution to the customers
Desired Candidate Profile
- MCA or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10+ years relevant experience.
- Strong Knowledge of Transact SQL and complex query & Dynamic query and SSRS Reports.
- Develop new jobs, reports as part of the project team. Good knowledge of SQL and database objects, relations, views, functions, Triggers Analyzing and resolving Performance issues, stored procedures tuning Quick debugging, SQL profiler.
- When assigned, build database objects from source; create database release deployment scripts Adherence to pre-defined programming standards.
