A Greenfield IT set up was recently implemented as a part of Minimum Viable Product (MVP1) for Stellar National Life. As we approach the Day 2 of implementation there will more complex requirements and implementations across our organization with our application portfolio expansion and integrations. Hence, the need to have an in-house Applications Architect who will oversee, design, implement various projects and production support functions across Stellar Applications portfolio.

DutiesResponsibilities

Technical Desing & Solution for new applications, functionalities and enhancements planned.

Architect and design highly scalable, available, secure and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.

Build resilient and cloud ready solutions based on Micro Services, Multi-tenancy architecture at the same time own the quality of software solutions.

Responsible for overall architecture and design of the solution delivered.

Play trusted advisor to the program leadership to bring the right technical skills on the board.

Research, analyze and recommend solutions which meet business and technology needs.

Coach developers, testers to deliver high quality software.

Partner closely with the product owners, business analyst to align product architecture with business needs.

Manage diverse requirements, negotiate, and effectively articulate rationale and vision behind technical decisions that support the business.

Required SkillsAbilities

Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues.

Strong knowledge of AWS, CSS, React UI, Microservices SpringBoot, Fargate, ECS, lambda, ALB, DynamoDB, S3 buckets, Azure B2C etc.

Working knowledge of architecting and building Microservices using a leading technology stack like Spring Spring Cloud. Very proficient in Java, RESTful APIs, API Gateway, Microservices communications, RDBMSNoSQL DB and DevOps methodologies and tools.

ExperienceQualifications

Overall 10+ years in Microservices, application-level design and architecting for SaaS applications and cloud-based applications. DevOps, opensource tech stack, security, scalability, performance tuning.

Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)

Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data

Good working experience with CICD tools like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git will be essential.

Experience working on agile development teams (ideally using Scrum or Kanban)
