Asst Manager-Operation SCM - is In charge of the complete inventory process and overall inventory control that is Inwards/outward stock. Should have good analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure
Inward Section
- Closely monitor Material inward and outward (internal transfer)
- Ensure proper checking is done after receiving material, GRN & Physical Verification of Stocks.
- Segregate stock according to schools and store, then stack the material.
- Coordination with Sales Team for sales figure/dispatch status.
- Ensure that the vehicle unloading is done within 3 hours of reporting.
- To report discrepancy/damage in the goods within 24 hours of receipt
- Ensure stock in transit is not pending in the system for more than 03 working days
- Nil Pending Replacement at Month-end.
- Ensure cost reduction of at least 10% in secondary transportation over last year
Outward-Section
- In charge of the Complete dispatch process and must have overall fulfillment/dispatch control.
- Closely monitor Material dispatched and internally transferred.
i) By checking parcels based on SO -- check with LR.
ii) Coordination with supporting team members for proper Invoicing.
- Co-ordination with business dispatch planning
iii) Kitting for counter sale(Store and School)
- Ensure proper checking before sending material, Dispatch Quality, and quantity check.
- Co-ordination with stalls in charges / School/ Sales for on-time dispatch
- Getting ready for dispatch of returns books by planning the Returns from schools, to be dispatched to publishers / Vendors.
- Stocks are regularly checked and verified against accounting records and any short/excess will be properly investigated.
- Continuously improve all aspects of the Dispatch section Warehouse, so that costs reduce.
