About the Role
You ll be responsible for the design, development of next-generation cloud-based solutions for SkyHigh Security Enterprise Platform projects.
You will work with multiple technologists, Senior Architects, and Principal Engineers across the organization to write design artifacts, develop and code reviews for newer compliant APIs to build out the Enterprise Platform.
You will strategize and engage with different partners including many popular cloud service providers like AWS, Salesforce, Office 365, etc., and take a broader look at how their businesses are evolving, and what they need from us, and what platforms we need to create to stay ahead of those needs.
You will lead the technical direction, design, and architecture and create scalable solutions. This includes design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms.
You will partner with developers, development managers, product managers, and partners to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development across geographically distributed locations.
You will survey new technologies, create a proof of concepts, contribute to pathfinding, and provide a vision for the overall platform and components strategy.
You will be customer-obsessed and build a platform that provides optimal experiences.
About You
You will demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (multi-tenancy, orchestration, elastic scalability)
You will have 5+ years of experience as a software architect
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for SkyHigh Secur cloud end-to-end architecture, including AWS and future providers, networking, provisioning, and management.
Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the Enterprise Platform portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud.
Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the why, and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation.
Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for cloud security.
Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability, scaling and disaster recovery for applications.
Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations.
Provide thought leadership in industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
Demonstrate forward-thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts.
Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems.
Act as the coach and mentor to team members and technical staff on their assigned project tasks.
Hands-on experience in migration of business software at scale to Data Centers or Cloud.
Should have architect exposure in defining, implementing, and managing the platform components in cloud-based opportunities.
Should be able to provide sizing, capacity, and cost estimation; assist in developing cost benefit cases and co-develop solutions.
Hands on Cloud Native Design Patterns Services including micro-services, docker, Kubernetes etc.
Strong experience in open source platforms like Java, Python.
Should have broad experience in Relational and NoSQL databases, messaging, caching, identity, and access management.
Should have proven experience of driving platform engineering to bring out standardization and reusability for the programs of large scale across the organization.
Hands on automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Strong experience in different AWS services like EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQL Database, AWS IAM and Container Services, etc.
Capability of ideating or conceptualizing cloud solutions from a given legacy use cases.
