Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in information/computer science, engineering, or related discipline with IT focus required
• Min 3+ years AWS experience working in a highly distributed fast paced environment
• Clear understanding of cloud principles including Resiliency, Elasticity, Scalability, and Cost Optimization.
• Strong Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, GoLang, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience with Microservice Architectures
• Strong foundational knowledge of AWS Networking services including VPC, TGW, Direct Connect, ELB, and PrivateLink
• Hands-on experience implementing least-privileged access using AWS IAM and other services
• Strong desire for learning new tech and solving challenging engineering problems.
• Ability to clearly communicate with software engineers as well as project management personnel.
• Being able to learn independently and take on own initiatives
• Periodic 24x7 on-call availability

Highly Desired:

• AWS Certified

• Experience building workloads using Serverless Architecture design patterns
• Experience with managed code or scripting competency (PowerShell, Python, JSON, and YML)
• Hands-on Experience with Docker, EC2, ECS/EKS/Fargate, Lambda/API Gateway
• Experience implementing Event Driven Architectures (ex: Pub/Sub, data streaming, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
