• Database deployments (Installation, version upgrades and migration).
• Ensure high availability or uptime of database services.
• Query performance, monitoring and optimization
• Backup and Restoration
• User access management, security and audit
• Build data pipelines to push the data from live databases to data warehouse (Data Lake)
• Automate Routine or manual DBA activities

Requirements

• 4+ years hands-on experience on databases with at least 2+ years as DBA on mongodb
• Working experience in managing PROD databases deployed in replica set architecture.
• Strong knowledge on database replication, profiling, backup restore and mongodb utilities
• Working experience in writing UNIX shell scripts to automate scheduled jobs.
• Working experience in writing complex mongodb queries, scripting and automation
• Must have strong ownership skills and must be able to work with minimal support.
• Certifications or courses on mongodb DBA.
• Good to have basic knowledge on python and spark.
