Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for database monitoring.
- Backups and restorations
- Responsible for generating backend reports to meet business and audit requirements
- Documentation of all the DB activities including incident register
- Conducting periodic DB restoration mock drills
- Conducting periodic database tables vacuuming
- Provide guidance and support to Application Developers on DB/Schema design, optimization of SQL and PL-SQL Programs.
- Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
- Coordinate with HIS and cloud partners in patch deployment.
- Data migrations and interface DB developments
- Process work accurately and in a timely manner
- Pay attention to detail at all time
- Responsible to maintain all the organizations DB policies and procedures
- Database tuning and capacity planning
Desired Candidate Profile
B.Tech/M.C.A with around 4 to 9 years of post-qualification relevant experience in handling multiple databases.
Should have strong DBA knowledge in MSSQL, MySQL, PostGre, Mango DB and basic knowledge in NOSQL.
Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
Good understand database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
