- Database Engineer position will need to collaborate with Database Architect, User Interface Developer and Network Engineer in design and implementing new product feature in one of enVista Product.
Database Engineer Qualifications/Skills
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
- Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
- Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
- Able to create Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers on MS SQL server.
- Familiarity with SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Excel Power Query
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field
- One to three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Experience with Query Optimization Tools (SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer Database Tuning Advisor)
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Microsoft Azure) a plus
