JOB DETAIL

  • Coordinate, analyze, design, implement and administer technology solutions for the Comoto Family of Brands (RevZilla, Cycle Gear, and J&P Cycles)
  • Recommend best practices for improvements to current operational processes
  • Configure and maintain database servers
  • Administer backup procedures and disaster recovery plans
  • Participate in the on-call coverage rotation plan
  • Keep abreast of applicable database server enhancements and issues
  • Participate in platform deployments; review/approve DB related changes
  • Communicate status and planning activities to management and team members

 

  • Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading MS SQL Server databases
  • Experience working in a 24x7 environment
  • Experience with all aspects of SQL Server Administration, including:
    • Managing Server and Database storage
    • Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server management and third-party tools
    • Performance tuning of the database server
    • Designing and implementing various backup/recovery strategies
    • Designing and implementing database maintenance strategies, including index management, updating of statistics, application of patches
    • Replication, log shipping, mirroring, clustering, AlwaysOn
    • SSRS and SSIS Coding scripts, procedures, functions, etc.
    • Developing methods for effectively monitoring database systems
