Roles and Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience in managing Software Development Teams
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree In Computer Science from a reputed University
- Sound exposure to Software development technologies in Java, .NET, Oracle, Sql Server
- Experience in Data Science and related technologies is desirable.
- Good understanding of Software Architecture, Software Development methodologies, DevOps, micro-services architecture.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ensure Software is developed in accordance with the Software Development and IT Security Guidelines of DPWORLD-IT, UAE Region.
- Understand business and project requirements and contribute to the Solution and Technical architecture of the proposed systems.
- Contribute in analyzing and devising security, capacity and performance requirements of systems and services.
- Assist ODC team members in technical design and in resolving technical, project issues.
- Maintain a professional environment within the ODC team and resolve team conflicts, if any.
- Ensure the software to be delivered is tested with acceptable standards and conforms to business requirements.
- Perform periodic design and code reviews and weed out inefficiencies, if any.
- Maintain Software development documents like Architecture documents, TSD, Test Cases and results.
- Support the ODC team in SIT, UAT, Performance tests and Penetration tests.
- Attend Audit and review meetings whenever required and action upon Audit observations and NCs, if any.
- Be proactive in identifying system issues, improvement opportunities and clear out the issues in a phased manner based on project priorities.
- Distribute and manage ODC Team resource workload and liaise with DPWORD UAE teams to fine tune the workload whenever required.
- Manage training requirements and training plan of ODC team and ensure that the ODC team is updated on latest technologies.
- Manage leaves, appraisals, HR requirements of ODC team members in line with DPWORLD policies and procedures and communication with HR department.
- Contribute in recruitment of new employees in DPWORLD ODC.
- Take responsibility of delivery timelines and keep the project teams updated in instances of any possible change in timelines
