Seeking a creative, open-minded .NET Developer to join the Development team working on financial software, to be responsible for participating in all stages of Software Development Lifecycle.

• Software Design and Development:

o Ability to work with complex requirements and specification documents, and devise and develop appropriate software solutions

o Ability to integrate into an existing development team and work with an existing extensive code base

o Participate in the overall planning and execution of development objectives

o Coordinate development efforts with internal and external interfaces

o Responsible for the creation of programmatic modules, unit tests and test data related to Development assignments

o Ensure all development processes and practices are completely and consistently followed

o Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; as well as define problems, and develop methods to resolve them in a timely manner

• Development standards and quality:

o Maintain the consistently high quality of the software code

o Ensure the relevant coverage by unit tests and/or automated testing routines

o Work with peers and management to develop process standards and/or enhancements to prevent re-occurrence of Development-related issues

• Strategic Development and Partnership:

o Partner with peers, management, senior managers, internal and external business users to identify, gather, and understand their goals and to formulate strategies to support them, while prioritizing requests and staying within deadlines

o Work collaboratively with team to create and share technology vision on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

• Education: BTech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent

• 4+ years of experience in software development

• Excellent understanding of C# programming language, WCF

• SSRS reports (MS Reporting Service) skills

• Advanced SQL Server and Transact SQL skills

• Strong experience with unit testing

• Strong experience working with Windows Forms or modern client-side Web Development

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio Development environment and Microsoft TFS or GIT

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability

• Experience in Agile development methodologies

• Good analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements

• Good problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills

• Good English skills (both spoken and written)

The candidate should be able to work independently or in a cross-functional team in multitasking and dynamic environment. A good understanding of financial industry or services is a big plus.
