WE ARE HIRING FOR A GLOBAL MANUFACTURING LEADER

The Technology Specialist is responsible for design and development of reliable and cost-effective Power electronic products which satisfy the business needs of the company. The position requires excellent technical engineering knowledge coupled with proficiency in product development and quality systems with a constant eye for improvements.

Design, simulate, prototype and release power electronics products and systems from concept.

Generate supporting documentation as per project requirements.

Adhere to best practices, design standards, and processes during development.

Education

Essential: - Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent

Desired: - Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Digital Electronics

Knowledge

Solid knowledge of Electronics Fundamentals, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors and Communication

Interfaces like Modbus, TCP/IP, SNMP, BACnet.

Expert in programming Microprocessors - CPLD / Assembly Language like Embedded C, ALP of 8051

Good working knowledge of VB/VC++/Python or other Hi Level Programming languages.

Good knowledge of sensors and actuators including design, interface, and testing.

Good understanding of communication protocols.

Should have working knowledge of Electronics design/Simulation tools such as MATLAB, PSpice,

Orcad, Cadence or equivalent tools.

Experience in preparing Technical Specifications, Design documents and Test plans

Design experience of UPS, Inverters, Converters

Good and Consistent Academic Records

Strong Analytical skills. Passion to Succeed and eager to learn new technologies

5 to 9 Years of Experience in Design of Power Electronics Equipment

Desired experience:

Knowledge of Power Electronics Fundamentals, Power Switching Devices (IGBT/ MOSFET),

SMPS, Magnetics & Gate Driver Design.

Experience in UPS or Solar Industry

Good knowledge in IEC Standards. Experience in EMI/EMC and its Filter design.

Familiar with Japanese language.
