The job and its impact

• Hands-on mastery of JavaScript, and experience with one or more front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, Hybrid apps, etc.

• Experience with front-end build tools: Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, Rollup

• Develop front-end code based on wireframes, visual designs, and UX specifications.

• Understanding of charting libraries and rendering libraries.

• Basic understanding of back-end technologies is therefore necessary as well

• Ability and willingness to handle multiple projects at a time.

• Be a mentor to junior developers.

• Be a change agent. Help move our design, development, and delivery processes into the next generation.

• Delivery of highly available, highly reliable, scalable product

• Lead a team of front-end developers in the successful execution of a client engagement.

• Contribute to the development of our internal tools and reusable architecture.

• Knowledge of agile project execution and articulate complex requirements.

• Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up

• Deep understanding expertise with highly transactional, large relational, and complex web-based systems.

• Experience hiring and growing a top-notch engineering team, and scaling the organization. Start-up experience will be highly preferred

• Experience writing JavaScript that is maintainable, object-oriented and sensitive to different browser technologies

• Experience implementing 3rd party tools/libraries where appropriate

• Development experience with different browser technologies and mobile environments

• Experience in reviewing code and suggesting changes with feedback.

• Knowledge of the Agile methodology including sprints, SCRUMS and test-driven development

• A deep understanding of REST and API design

What essential skills do you need

• 2~10 years experience in frond end development

• Able to demonstrate good technical problem solving skills

• Possess relevant hands-on experience with JavaScript, and experience with one or more front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, Hybrid apps, etc.

• Should be ready to explore, learn and develop solutions for problems
