Job Description
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll aid in creating new methods of sale and advertising through social media, website, and print, email, texting, etc. and to help drive brand awareness and sales. You will also aid in miscellaneous graphic design projects pertaining to websites, social media, and other design tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- As a Graphic designer create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
- Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, social media posting, brand building, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
- Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
- Determine the message the design should portray.
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message.
- Develop graphics for Social Media Posts, Banners, product illustrations, logos, and websites etc.
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout.
Skills Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- Should have extended knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe Photoshop)
- Strong working experience with Adobe Photoshop, or similar image editing software
- Strong Skills in Image Editing, Creation, Modern Design for Marketing and Social Media
- Should understand deadlines and give fast results
- Must possess good understanding of color theory, perspective, cultural sensitivity, etc.
- Must have sound visualization ability to conceptualize graphics, animations, and page layouts from a given storyboard
- Must be passionate about image journalism, and creative storytelling
- Should be able to make the images entertaining and relevant
