About the Role

As a Head of Automation, you will have a passion of people and technology. You will oversee the delivery of all automation project to our clients. You will be involved in the planning, monitoring and control of automation activities to a high standard of quality across multiple clients. You will advise our clients on automation strategies and innovative solutions. You will work with a team of 40+ resource who work across 15+ clients. Motivating and inspiring your team is key to the success of your role.

Skills and Experience:

• Ideally 10+ years' experience in Test Management and test automation experience
• Project Resourcing, pipeline planning, quality control, risk and issue management
• The ideal candidate should have automation experience across multiple tools such Selenium with Java, C#, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TOSCA
• Multiple years hands-on experience with implementing code review processes, test tooling, building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Lead, plan and deliver activities to an exceptional quality, within highly complex environments and agreed timeframes.
• The head is expected to be pro-active & dig deep into Risks/issues and actively participate in resolving them with the client/onshore
• Prior experience in leading a team up to 20+ members across multiple projects.
• Experience in end to end project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate efficiently with client, products, offshore & onshore teams and bridge the communication gaps
• Excellent training/presentation skills to educate the organization on new or updated processes.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team-building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
• Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
• Experience of working in an Agile environment is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
