Essential Job Functions for IT Recruiter

  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github.
  • Should have good experience in end to end IT recruitment.
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.
  • Should have extensive knowledge on working with direct clients.
  • Good level of experience to deal with candidates/vendors professionally and negotiate rates.
  • Participate in tech conferences and meet ups to network with IT professionals.
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioural questions)
  • Able to solve challenging hiring situations through market data & intelligence.

Qualification and Experience:

  • BSc in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree.
  • Proven work experience of 1 to 4 years as a Technical /Technology Recruiter.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience and knowledge in all IT Technologies
  • Should have good experience in complete IT recruitment process.
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
