- Workstation/laptop setup
- Shipping and receiving computer equipment
- Receive systems from users that may need minor hardware and software fixes
- Take support calls for helpdesk requests
- Quickly respond to IT Technical requests from users
- Troubleshoot workstation and laptop operating systems
- Troubleshoot Microsoft office apps
- Help users with software and account setup
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Updating inventory records using IT Asset management system
- Imaging/reimaging computers/hard drives
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- 2+ years experience in IT support role
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10 and o365 suite
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues with desktop machines
- Technical knowledge of PCs and peripherals as well as cable management
- Familiarity with Windows server OS is a big plus
- Familiarity with virtualization and VMware
- Working Knowledge on Hyper – V
- Basic Knowledge on Firewall, Preferably Sonic Wall.
- Basic knowledge on cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge on Azure IAAS services.
