We are product-based company. One of our flagship product built on Java and Vaadin UI tech stack. The current version we are using v8 and need to migrate to v14.
We are seeking to hire contractors to complete this migration. The work target should finish in 6-9 months. We need to target in 6 months and the remaining 3 months need to work for production readiness.
Team should work from office physically and need to work closely with our engineers.
Job description
- Responsible for full stack design, coding and unit testing of enterprise applications.
- Able to understand the Vaadin framework. The work focus is on upgrading the Vaadin from v8 to v14.
- Work collaboratively within a team of other engineers and have strong influencing and leadership skills.
- Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation.
- This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, driven to produce results and demonstrates the ability to take a cross-team leadership role.
- Preparing and maintaining the necessary technical documents.
- Should participate in engineering audits, design reviews/Code reviews and troubleshooting within and outside his/her product team.
Essential qualification
- Engineering or Technical Degrees (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA).
- 4+ years of experience in J2EE based products/projects, including UI development
- MUST have worked minimum 2 years on Vaadin tech stack.
- Good experience on below tech stack.
- Core java
- Spring & spring boot
- Vaadin 14 + (added advantage)
- Vaadin8
- Should have worked on Bit Bucket.
- Should have excellent attention to high quality.
- Good understanding of agile product development methodology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
