Job Description:

Looking for Sr. Software Engineer with expertise in designing and developing applications including new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and support. The role involves continuous collaboration with customers, iterative understanding of requirement, following fidelity best practices/ methodologies, through understanding of the technology roadmap, advancement to design/ development process.


Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and architect complex solutions dedicated to high scale processing of large amounts of data.
• Assess and research current implementations of the platform and determine the course of action required to enhance the platform.
• Provide Leadership to the Junior engineers and make them understandable and enhance their current skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with peers and the leaderships team on process improvement ideas, policy and procedure and opportunities to improve the customer service experience.
• Ideal attitude, Team Player, Effective Contributor, Mentoring
• Focused on Productivity.       

Skills Required:

• Java/J2ee Object oriented design and development skills
• Java IDEs(Eclipse,Intelli)
• Java SE, Servlets /JSP, Spring MVC
• Web Services(SOAP/REST)
• ORM Tools - Hibernate
• Multithreading and java design patter
• SQL Proficiency(PostGres experience preferred)
• Unit Testing( JUnit, Jmeter)
• Job scheduling Technologies.
• Build Technologies (Maven,Hudson)
• Agile Methodologies or Iterative Development Process.
• Acceptance test driven development a plus.
• Experience in AWS( added Advantage)
