ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work closely with the RF design team to provide high quality layout in a timely manner
- Proficient in block level, macro level and top level; floor planning, assembly and verification
- Experience in leading a project layout team a plus
- Experience working in multiple processes
- Communicate regular status updates
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- BE./ B. Tech/B.Sc and/or equivalent experience
- 6-10 years of layout experience, 1+ years of RF experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Solid understanding of RF building blocks such LNA s, Mixers, VCO s, PA s etc.
- Strong familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, Layout XL, Calibre and Unix
- Knowledge of layout techniques for device matching, parasitic reduction, RF shielding, optimal high frequency routing
- Execution in Top Level assembly of complete radio
- Solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, coupling effects, latchup prevention and ESD protection
- Strong familiarity with PR methods a plus
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Outstanding communication and verbal presentation skills.
