Job Description :-
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strong expertise in planning, managing product roadmaps as per the Organization strategies
- Strong expertise in Acquisition integrations, managing multiple technology teams
- Design and implement medium to enterprise level Drupal/WordPress applications with enterprise workflow and business process integration and design patterns.
- Architecting inception-to-delivery of Drupal/WordPress projects.
- Well versed with Organization structure and understand the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder and define these for subordinates
- Should be highly professional in dealing with superiors and subordinates
- Should be a mentor for subordinates and should strive for building their morale
- Provide required updates on assigned work packages, resources
- Constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems using Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Participate, contribute and Influence during technical decisions with clients.
- Lead and Mentor technical teams.
- Participate in agile development process to ensure project deliverables are met, on time and of high quality
- Understanding and implementing of project management practices
- Managing and delivery of projects from conceptualization, visualization to technology mapping and final execution of projects
- Formulates strategies and methods in coordination with the inline Manager to gather functional requirements and capture them in standard notations like use cases.
- Managing, mentoring and providing technical guidance/support to project teams
- Liaison with project team (team members) and delivering projects as per scheduled milestones (risk/quality/time)
- Review/Improve upon current processes/methodologies.
- Improve the technical competence of the team through training & development of existing and new team members.
- The quality and completeness of assignments, including initial design, development, bug fixing, quality engineering, documentation, and general product maintenance.
- Should be innovative and proactive in providing solutions/suggestions to subordinates and superiors.
Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering /Technology / MCA
- A minimum of 15 years of total work experience in software development which includes product roadmaps planning, team management and client handling experience in reputed IT organizations.
- A 10 years of experience in PHP including 5+years of relevant software development experience in WordPress/Drupal
- Expert in PHP, My SQL, Core PHP, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla & other open source tools
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS & knowledge of working with third party web services
- Knowledge on Ecommerce (Payment Gateways, Shopping Carts, SEO Friendliness Coding, etc.,)
- Strong Database design and programming skills
- Proven experience in planning, execution, and implementation of high-quality software projects.
- Experience in project co-ordination and delivery management
- Good Communication Skills & Time Management -Good at visualization & making Clean Web layouts
- Should be able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Ability to understand how to think around obstacles and execute deliverables on time
- Desire to change the existing paradigms, think out of the box and sharp analytical mind
- Must have high initiative, leadership qualities, good Interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal and analytical skills.
- Understanding of web usability issues and information architecture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment and flexible to accommodate demanding Project schedules.
- Ability to express technical concepts clearly to people with no technical background
