Position: Manual testing with SQL

Experience required: 3 to 8 years

Employment: Permanent Position

Notice Period: Immediate-20 days

Job Location: Hyderabad

 

Job Description:

 

• Write and execute all kinds of testing including functional, acceptance, regression, integration tests on multi-tiered applications in a cutting edge Agile and Waterfall environment.
• Understand and accurately interpret customer requirements to develop and execute Test Plans/Scenarios/Cases/test data
• Analyze patterns of defects, prioritize bugs and take responsibility for all tasks related to testing features
• Strong experience in writing medium to complex SQL queries
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle and processes
• Documentation of Bug Logging, Prioritizing, Tracking and Reporting.
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Maintain positive client and peer interactions
• Strong knowledge on designing and executing SQL queries is must.
• Strong expertise in all kinds of functional testing.
• Expert in handling testing of a product independently, which include

Test planning

Test case development

Test execution

Defects Reporting, Verification and Analysis

• Should have hands-on experience working effectively in an Agile process.

 

Desired Skills:

• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Should have the ability to work well under pressure and during crisis situations
• Should have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Positive attitude, with high levels of self-motivation and self-governance.
• Customer Orientation and strong customer facing skills
• Experience in ETL/Data base testing will be added advantage.
• Knowledge on Automation tools is a plus.
