The PEGA roles are considered intermediate to lead level

- 5+ years of experience as an application developer

- 5+ years of application architecture and design experience

- 5+ years of programming and design experience utilizing JAVA

- 5+ years working experience with application server technology (Websphere preferred)

- 5+ years of experience with Pega Systems PRPC (6.1 sp2 preferred with 7.1MLX a must)

- Pega PRPC certification is desirable

- 5+ years experience of enterprise level systems development with strong knowledge of industry standard interface protocols (i.e. SOAP, MQ, HTTP, EJB, etc.)

- Strong working knowledge or Pega Standards and Guardrails.

- Strong business and product knowledge including Business Process Analysis and Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO)

- Strong knowledge of PRPC optimization, profiling, and trouble shooting.

- Strong working knowledge of SQL.

- Ability to create highly available systems.

- Ability to manage concurrent development.

- Ability to create and manage inside a J2EE/SOA/ UML architecture.

- Strong working knowledge of data modeling standards and JAVA class structures.

- Design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills

- Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures

- Knowledge of prototyping and rapid development techniques

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
