- SkySpecs is looking for a People Operations Manager for our India office, who will provide a broad range of support related to the employee lifecycle and people operations.
- This position requires a high level of customer service [the people are our customers!], enthusiasm, and the ability to keep up in a constantly changing and fast paced organization.
IN A GIVEN WEEK, THE PEOPLE OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL:
- Manage and develop P&C team members through 1:1 coaching, professional development and ad hoc discussions
- Assist with the employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding, document processing and system termination
- Build employee profiles in company HRIS database
- Manage Employee Relations (ER) Tracker; responding to and triaging requests as needed in the beginning but building a People Ops team to support
- Partner with General Manager to build out a great culture for employees to thrive
- Partner with onsite leadership for employee engagement, employee relations and performance management tasks
- Manage the employee background check process
- Create and maintain People + Culture files, shared folders, reports and documentation
- Maintain administrative process for all employee changes within the organization
- Liaise with the IT and Payroll teams as needed
- Manage visa procedures
- Manage the employee benefit process, including annual open enrollment
- Support the Talent Management team with candidate sourcing and scheduling
- Office management and administrative oversight for our India office
- Support office culture to reflect SkySpecs values
MUST HAVES:
- HRIS software experience, preferably Namely or Workday
- Having run recruitment campaigns and built high performance engineering teams
- Strong experience with India’s compensation and benefits
- Strong experience with India’s employment laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Built and led team of HR and Recruiting professionals
- Technical proficiency with Google Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field, or at least 5 + years experience in the HR industry
- Functional knowledge of HR with hands-on HR administration skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a mostly remote environment
- Experience with creating and writing job descriptions
