• Daily Administration on LINUX/Windows servers in Virtual/cloud Infrastructure
• Remote administration of servers in large scale Data Centers.
• Maintenance of Hardware and Operating System - activities like kernel upgrades, OS upgrades, hardware maintenance, virtualization, etc.
• Sound Knowledge on RedHat Linux and Oracle Enterprise Linux and Open-source OS.
• Experience in virtual infrastructure management tools
• Writing shell/Perl scripts for day-to-day system administration task
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx, MTA, Tomcat etc.
• Installing, configuring, and deploying fully distributed Red Hat Linux systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Understand the root of the technical problem and report the same
• Following standard operating procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Gather and analyze metrics to improve and report on the performance and efficiency of trading systems
• Work in tandem with the development team to ensure the health and stability of the production environment
• Continually drive production systems toward cleanliness, simplicity, and reliability
• Use in-house email and chat system to provide quick Linux based IT support
• Improve software management on both Microsoft and Linux platforms

Required Qualification:

• Typically requires 0 - 3 years of related experience in a professional job role with a bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications like OEL, RHCE any linux will be added advantage
• Exposure to Technologies will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of ITIL or other Incident Management processes preferred
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Ansible/Jenkis/Git will be added advantage
• Enterprise Level Experience in Production Environment (24X7support will be a plus)
• Would be required to work on weekends
• Should be flexible to work in 24x7 (rotation mode)
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
