JOB DETAIL

The Project Analyst is responsible for providing administrative support to the Project Management Office (PMO) at Data Intensity. This role's focus is assisting project managers on delivering successful projects within the approved scope, time and cost, accompanied by highly satisfied customers and project team members. This will be accomplished by applying project management best practices through the entire project life cycle (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing). This position offers a progressive career path in project management.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in delivering projects that meet the objectives of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Set up projects in alignment with the service contract.

Monitor and ensure timely and accurate time reporting.

  • Gather and prepare project performance reports.
  • Support budget tracking, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with PMO team to enhance and maintain data integrity and project reporting accuracy.

Support creation and maintenance of project deliverables delegated by the Project Manager, including but not limited to the project management plan, scope, requirements, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, resource plan, communication plan, stakeholder register, etc.

Assist with maintaining all project documentation in a centralized repository, with appropriate version control, quality reviews and sign off points secured.

  • Proactively collaborate with Project Managers, consultants and operations to understand the project and then assist in delivering per the established project management practices.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Communicate with project resources, stakeholders, and customers regarding project status.
  • Observe and document lessons learned and advise Project Manager on ideas to make the project successful.
  • Facilitate meetings and distribute minutes.
  • Manage small projects as needed.

Qualifications

Professional degree in IT field or equivalent experience

1 - 2 years of experience in a project management support role

Project management certification preferred

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Exceptional organization and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and financial acumen

Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Expert-level Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, conditional formatting, vlookup, functions, general formatting)

Project management tool experience including MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
