Experience:

Should have 5+ years of experience into project management.

Essential Competencies:

- Should have experience on working on Payment/Banking/Insurance domain other payment applications.    

- Should be capable to work towards on time delivery within budget and quality.     

- Knowledge and Experience in Software development methodologies.     

- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.     

- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.    

- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.    

- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including   upper management, clients, and other departments.   

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

- Should have experience of managing bigger size projects.

Responsibilities:

- Direct and manage Project, Change Request development from beginning to end     

- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications   documents     

- Should be able to draw, review and track multiple software project plans     

- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders  in a timely and clear fashion            

- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and track the   progress of the project     

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path   activities     

- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate   tools     

- Develop and deliver progress reports & various productivity parameters      

- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive
   action and accountability for their   assigned work.     

- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and   management.     

- Holds regular status review meetings with the project team.     

- Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence     

- Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner     

- Mitigates team conflict and communication problems     

- Manage requirement management for one of the specialized domain

Technical Competencies:

- Excellent knowledge on Project management & PMI standards     

- Hands on experience in Microsoft Project and other PM tools.     

- Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design     

- Has an Excellent knowledge on SDLC process

Desired Competencies:

- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,  collaborative environment is essential.

 - Strong written and oral English communication skills. Should be prompt in   sending communications to stake holders  - Should able to conduct research into project-related issues and products     

- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.     

- Should be capable of managing multiple teams, projects, Change requests concurrently    

- Experience in Financial or Banking domain is essential

Qualificaion:

BE or MCA/MBA preferably with PMP certification
