- This role will be part of a team responsible for Automation Testing and support of global corporate tools to support various teams throughout the organization.
- This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, proactiveness and solid communication skills.
- The QA Automation Analyst will bring experience in systems and integration testing, analyzing and understanding business requirements, writing, maintaining and executing automated test scripts and participating in failure and defect analysis.
- This person will be able to help to mentor other members of the team and manage project work independently.
Responsibilities
- Build automated testing script and support a range of global software platforms (primarily Salesforce and ServiceNow) and various other corporate systems and tools
- Develop performance test suite to measure the system performance. Investigate the performance issue and provide root cause analysis for future improvement.
- Collaborate with functional team members to understand and analyze business and functional requirements and able to turn this requirement into automated script.
- Capable to work in Multiple Projects in Parallel
- Participate in meetings and organize work and/or training sessions around new software being introduced into the ICE technology environment
- Enhances team and coworkers through knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in day-to-day activities
- Takes initiative to continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills
- Is always keen to improve processes and apply innovation to our ways of working
Knowledge and Experience
- 3 years of proven experience with maintaining complex automated test suites or building automation frameworks
- Must have good working experience in Robot Framework, TestNG or other automation frameworks, Python, SQL, Selenium
- Hands-on experience in automating tests for APIs, web applications in Robot Framework.
- Proven experience with development tools like VSCode, Pycharm etc.
- Build automation systems, source control, UI test automation frameworks, etc.
- Familiarity in test automation framework design, Estimations, automation workflows.
- Expand existing test automation framework and test coverage.
- Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments.
- Experience in software testing methodologies and processes.
- Critical thinker, Strong analytic & problem-solving skills for root cause determination & fixing the issues
- Should be able to work in Agile work environment
- Should be a good Team player
- Good time-management skills
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in automating applications using Robot Framework, Selenium for Web applications similar cloud-based platform is highly desirable
- Experience in system performance measurement/testing
- Experience with any of the following technologies / tools: Python, SOAP / REST, XML, SharePoint, SOAP UI / Postman, SQL, JIRA
- Previous test automation experience with Python / Selenium
- Some form of customer-facing or consulting experience
- Experience working as part of a global team, working across multiple time zones
