Roles and Responsibilities

1. Understanding the various phases of SDLC and STLC along with Bug Life Cycle.

2. Understand end-to-end testing requirements and maintain test plan for functional, non-functional and system testing.

3. Create, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data sets, and test scripts to be used in software testing for manual and automated testing

4. Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.

5. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

6. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

7. Communicates with stakeholders on product issues.

8. Acquires and maintains knowledge of existing products, operations or systems.

9. Hands-on experience with automation tools, ideally Selenium

10. Preferred knowledge of object oriented and scripting languages such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, C#, CSS

11.Preferred knowledge of development and testing tools (visual studio, browsers developer console, TFS).

12. Preferred Knowledge testing both packaged solutions, as well custom development software in high availability web-based environments

13. Strong team focus, willingness to help others, and problem solve team solution needs

14. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure, and developing team environment

15. Ability to proactively learn about new technology and QA techniques

16. Successful experience working with varied teams, partnering with Software Engineers, Application Engineers, IT Managers, and Business Analysts.

17. Demonstrated ability to develop and create test cases from structured business requirements documentation as well as from less structured, ad-hoc, and/or limited documentation

Good to have

1. Experience on API Automation is a plus

2. Experience in working on Agile based projects
