Monitor, prioritize, assign and resolve alerts and support tickets based on priority and SLOs
Implement new tools for Monitoring PostgreSQL in AWS
Implement HA tools for PostgreSQL in AWS EC2/Linux
Design and implement robust database engineering/administration solutions.
Develop database architectural strategies at the modelling, design and implementation stages to address business or industry requirements
Conceptualize and enforce database development standards.
Implementation of PostgreSQL Clusters, HA configuration troubleshooting, Partitioning and Performance Optimization on PostgreSQL
What Youll Need
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in managing PostgreSQL Servers
Minimum 7 years Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database operational support skills (failover, failback, DR, HA, maintenance, performance troubleshooting, backup/restore, partitioning, creating and managing PostgreSQL clusters)
Expert Knowledge of SQL (Query) tuning and optimization.
Must have experience in handling large-scale multi-terabyte databases architecture.
Experience working on AWS (Amazon Web Services) or equivalent Cloud platform. Managing databases on Cloud, Migration, Scaling up databases on Cloud.
Must understand the PostgreSQL architecture at a 200-300 level
Working experience in designing a large scale, high availability systems. Preferably with BFSI or e-commerce domain.
Hands-on experience with related/complementary software platforms and languages (e.g., Python, Shell and PowerShell)
